hello?!...can you hear me?

Every day I learn something new! This whole experience has kept me in awe and disbelief. I've stopped immersing myself in books and googling every unusual term that comes my way. Its just overwhelming and sometimes not always accurate. I've resolved myself to just allow things to happen and not stress over the little things.

I have found myself talking to my belly. "They" say that the babies can hear you at around 16 weeks. I sing to them as we now have favorite songs. Although I'm hoping they don't yet realize how off-key I can sing. Our favorite tunes are "Good vs. Evil" by Bruno Mars, though my rapping is not as good as Eminem, "Someone Like You" by Adele is a tune I like to sing cuz I actually know the words. Will make sure to teach the twins to treat ladies with respect and not break too many hearts or chicks like Adele will end up writing songs about you. "Good Life" by One Republic is a great catchy tune...in fact it was the song that came on the day I left the ultrasound imaging place and found out we were having twins. And "Super Bass" by Nikki Minaj actually makes the twins move!

So call me crazy but I've already lined up a playlist for the twins and when I deliver. And sorry to say, you won't find twinkle, twinkle, little star on there...

And looks like I will have to adjust the countdown as the doc has scheduled my C-section for 1/25/2012!

I'm sure that will change down the road but hoping I can hold out to full-term. Not sure how I'm going to do it as "the belly" is growing so fast...I can't even get dressed in the mornings. Its quite a challenge trying to put pants on! The husby had to help me put jeans on AND even cuffed them for me because I couldn't even reach my feet! Not sure if I was grateful or annoyed...

I am 21 weeks today!

I might dare to start posting belly pics but will see...I haven't yet settled with the idea that my belly looks like an alien shaped egg.

Doesn't seem too much longer...18 weeks and 6 more days to go!
